Narrative:
Arrived at oma from cvg. No fueling was necessary at oma. During postflt inspection, a possible fuel leak was discovered under left wing. It could not be determined where the source of the leak was, so company maintenance control was called. Company maintenance control and myself agreed that local contract maintenance should take a look at the possible leak. Contract maintenance arrived about 30 mins later and thoroughly inspected the possible leak. He then called our maintenance control and in conjunction with them, they determined that the leak was probably just a surge from the under wing naa duct vent that was in the vicinity of the possible leak. I then spoke with maintenance control and they shared his view and said that no maintenance write-up was necessary. The flight then departed oma uneventfully for cvg, albeit 40 mins late.

I THEN SPOKE WITH MAINT CTL AND THEY SHARED HIS VIEW AND SAID THAT NO MAINT WRITE-UP WAS NECESSARY. THE FLT THEN DEPARTED OMA UNEVENTFULLY FOR CVG, ALBEIT 40 MINS LATE.
