Narrative:

After landing on runway 22 at roc, we taxied back on runway 22 and exited via a right turn on taxiway C. We followed taxiway C centerline precisely until we began a left turn for the gate's lead-in line. Shortly after commencing the left turn, the right wingtip impacted a truck behind barricades off the right side of the taxiway. The taxiway C centerline, as we were told, had only been painted 10 mins previous to this incident. This line was over 40 ft south of the old taxi line's position, greatly reducing clearance off the right side of the aircraft. Within 1 hour of our collision with the truck, a new paint line for taxiway C was painted in the same position as the old line providing the 40+ ft of clearance which would have prevented this incident. The truck was stationary at the time of impact. Our wingtip was damaged outboard of the slat on the fiberglas. It was not structural. Our crew was aware of the numerous NOTAMS on construction at roc and considered these during the operation. The impact would not have occurred with an additional 18 inches of separation.

Title: B727 COLLISION WITH PARKED VEHICLE ON TXWY FOLLOWING NEWLY PAINTED TAXI CTRLINE ERRONEOUSLY MISPLACED (OFFSET) 40 FT ALLOWING THE COLLISION.

Narrative: AFTER LNDG ON RWY 22 AT ROC, WE TAXIED BACK ON RWY 22 AND EXITED VIA A R TURN ON TXWY C. WE FOLLOWED TXWY C CTRLINE PRECISELY UNTIL WE BEGAN A L TURN FOR THE GATE'S LEAD-IN LINE. SHORTLY AFTER COMMENCING THE L TURN, THE R WINGTIP IMPACTED A TRUCK BEHIND BARRICADES OFF THE R SIDE OF THE TXWY. THE TXWY C CTRLINE, AS WE WERE TOLD, HAD ONLY BEEN PAINTED 10 MINS PREVIOUS TO THIS INCIDENT. THIS LINE WAS OVER 40 FT S OF THE OLD TAXI LINE'S POS, GREATLY REDUCING CLRNC OFF THE R SIDE OF THE ACFT. WITHIN 1 HR OF OUR COLLISION WITH THE TRUCK, A NEW PAINT LINE FOR TXWY C WAS PAINTED IN THE SAME POS AS THE OLD LINE PROVIDING THE 40+ FT OF CLRNC WHICH WOULD HAVE PREVENTED THIS INCIDENT. THE TRUCK WAS STATIONARY AT THE TIME OF IMPACT. OUR WINGTIP WAS DAMAGED OUTBOARD OF THE SLAT ON THE FIBERGLAS. IT WAS NOT STRUCTURAL. OUR CREW WAS AWARE OF THE NUMEROUS NOTAMS ON CONSTRUCTION AT ROC AND CONSIDERED THESE DURING THE OP. THE IMPACT WOULD NOT HAVE OCCURRED WITH AN ADDITIONAL 18 INCHES OF SEPARATION.
