Narrative:
Discovered throttle control inoperative when directed to descend into lou/bowman. Used propeller control, mixture, and landing gear and flaps to descend and land. No damage to aircraft or passenger. Throttle cable had disengaged from the support bracket. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the aircraft was a beech A36 and cause of the loss of engine throttle control was a failed clamp on the throttle teleflex cable.
