Narrative:

On 8TH flight of the day, taxied out to runway for takeoff and when holding short of runway the tower/ground controller asked what our call sign was. After advising the controller of our call sign, he said that we had not called for taxi. After discussion with captain, we both thought that we had been given clearance. To be sure in the future, even though we are both tired and rushed, I suppose we should doublechk that we have clearance before beginning to taxi. Supplemental information from acn 454560: tower said he would talk to his supervisor.
