Narrative:

The flight departed mdt on an empty ferry flight to day with the first officer flying the leg. The flight proceeded normally to day. Day approach cleared us for a visual approach to runway 6L. The winds on the ATIS were reported as 350 degrees at 12 KTS gusting to 21 KTS. On landing in the crosswind, the aircraft became airborne again after initial touchdown and an apparent wind gust caused the aircraft to bank left. The aircraft was brought under control and landed with no apparent difficulties. After the aircraft was parked on the ramp, maintenance noticed some damage to the #1 slat and a canoe fairing. We were completely unaware that the aircraft contacted the runway until we were told about the damage.
