Narrative:

Clearance to cross bronc at 11000 ft, leaving FL180 PNF read preliminary checklist giving altimeter as 29.37. PF set 30.37 by mistake. Leaving 10700 ft, PNF questioned altitude. Altimeter mistake discovered and descent stopped at 10300 ft. Aircraft returned to 11000 ft. No question by ATC. All 4 digits of altimeter were read aloud during checklist. 2 additional items that I forgot to include on my original report are: 1) after the PNF stated altimeter 29.37, the PF replied 29.37 even though he set 30.37. 2) leaving 11900 ft the PNF stated 12000 ft for 11000 ft and that was also acknowledged by the PF.
