Narrative:
A bird strike to canopy created a blocked forward view of ground and surroundings. Altitude dropped from approximately 2000 ft AGL to approximately 400 ft AGL where recovery occurred. Substantial blood and carnage blocked all forward view. Upon a safe landing no damage to aircraft was discovered. Bird was estimated to be a goose.
