Landing roll. First officer PF. Captain (me) took command between 80-60 KTS. As reversers were stowed, #2 engine failed (flameout). Smoke was noted from #2 engine. Engine fire drill accomplished. Tower advised and crash fire rescue equipment requested. Aircraft stopped on taxiway. Fire department inspected aircraft and no fire or damage noted. Taxied to gate. Maintenance inspected and advised engine run. Aircraft returned to service as airworthy. Unknown why engine failed. Winds were 090 degrees at 14 KTS. Runway was 184 degrees magnetic. Engine was downwind.
