Narrative:
I was flying position #2, which involves the food and beverage preparation and service. I was in the rear of aircraft for boarding and didn't notice our problem passenger. As I was serving them lunch trays, I noticed the folks in row X were very obviously intoxicated. I mentioned to our extra (#3 flight attendant) and #2 flight attendant that row X needed to be cut off (no more liquor). They acknowledged. They (passenger) took their trays and ate. I didn't see them clearly after that. As our service progressed forward/aft, our #1 flight attendant called to ask if we were picking up trays yet. We were not yet at that point. She told me that a guy had just thrown a batch of empty trays at her feet in the first class galley and was being verbally abusive to her. She asked if our #2 (male flight attendant) could help her approach this guy and see what the problem was. I then called the cockpit to make sure they knew we had a potential problem. They'd been informed. The #1 and #2 flight attendants approached the passenger in row X and they continued to be verbally abusive to everyone. The other passenger witnessed their behavior. Because we all had to defuse the situation by moving mothers and their children away from them and coordinating with each other and the cockpit, our service was greatly interrupted. We all believed they should never have been boarded and couldn't believe gate agents at west palm beach had not noticed their level of intoxication. We were met by security and the 2 passenger were initially released. As they were walking away from the security officers, they started being verbally abusive again. They were then taken away in cuffs. These 2 passenger interrupted our flight and service considerably. They should never have been issued boarding passes.

Narrative: I WAS FLYING POS #2, WHICH INVOLVES THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE PREPARATION AND SVC. I WAS IN THE REAR OF ACFT FOR BOARDING AND DIDN'T NOTICE OUR PROB PAX. AS I WAS SERVING THEM LUNCH TRAYS, I NOTICED THE FOLKS IN ROW X WERE VERY OBVIOUSLY INTOXICATED. I MENTIONED TO OUR EXTRA (#3 FLT ATTENDANT) AND #2 FLT ATTENDANT THAT ROW X NEEDED TO BE CUT OFF (NO MORE LIQUOR). THEY ACKNOWLEDGED. THEY (PAX) TOOK THEIR TRAYS AND ATE. I DIDN'T SEE THEM CLRLY AFTER THAT. AS OUR SVC PROGRESSED FORWARD/AFT, OUR #1 FLT ATTENDANT CALLED TO ASK IF WE WERE PICKING UP TRAYS YET. WE WERE NOT YET AT THAT POINT. SHE TOLD ME THAT A GUY HAD JUST THROWN A BATCH OF EMPTY TRAYS AT HER FEET IN THE FIRST CLASS GALLEY AND WAS BEING VERBALLY ABUSIVE TO HER. SHE ASKED IF OUR #2 (MALE FLT ATTENDANT) COULD HELP HER APCH THIS GUY AND SEE WHAT THE PROB WAS. I THEN CALLED THE COCKPIT TO MAKE SURE THEY KNEW WE HAD A POTENTIAL PROB. THEY'D BEEN INFORMED. THE #1 AND #2 FLT ATTENDANTS APCHED THE PAX IN ROW X AND THEY CONTINUED TO BE VERBALLY ABUSIVE TO EVERYONE. THE OTHER PAX WITNESSED THEIR BEHAVIOR. BECAUSE WE ALL HAD TO DEFUSE THE SIT BY MOVING MOTHERS AND THEIR CHILDREN AWAY FROM THEM AND COORDINATING WITH EACH OTHER AND THE COCKPIT, OUR SVC WAS GREATLY INTERRUPTED. WE ALL BELIEVED THEY SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN BOARDED AND COULDN'T BELIEVE GATE AGENTS AT WEST PALM BEACH HAD NOT NOTICED THEIR LEVEL OF INTOXICATION. WE WERE MET BY SECURITY AND THE 2 PAX WERE INITIALLY RELEASED. AS THEY WERE WALKING AWAY FROM THE SECURITY OFFICERS, THEY STARTED BEING VERBALLY ABUSIVE AGAIN. THEY WERE THEN TAKEN AWAY IN CUFFS. THESE 2 PAX INTERRUPTED OUR FLT AND SVC CONSIDERABLY. THEY SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ISSUED BOARDING PASSES.
