Narrative:
While being vectored to ILS final runway 22L at ewr (first officer flying, captain monitoring) captain preset tower frequency on #1 radio in preparation for communication xfer to tower. Captain's sweater accidentally brushed communication selector and set tower frequency. Captain immediately realized frequency change and reselected approach frequency. Controller asked what happened and captain replied radio problem. Subsequent approach and landing uneventful.
