Narrative:
Put cvs identify in GPS navigation by mistake. Should have been cvn, identify for clovis municipal. Due to same runway orientations, I did not realize my mistake until cannon AFB contacted me on clovis unicom and told me to go around.

Title: A C172 PLT MISTAKENLY INPUT CVS, RATHER THAN CVN, INTO HIS GPS CAUSING HIM TO ENTER THE PATTERN AT CANNON AFB WITHOUT PERMISSION.
Narrative: PUT CVS IDENT IN GPS NAV BY MISTAKE. SHOULD HAVE BEEN CVN, IDENT FOR CLOVIS MUNICIPAL. DUE TO SAME RWY ORIENTATIONS, I DID NOT REALIZE MY MISTAKE UNTIL CANNON AFB CONTACTED ME ON CLOVIS UNICOM AND TOLD ME TO GO AROUND.
