Narrative:
Scheduled air departure mco-bwi, B737-300 aircraft. On climb out of mco, the lead flight attendant reported a very loud air leak from the forward entry door. We requested and received radar vectors for a return to mco. An emergency was not declared as the aircraft was operating normally and had pressurized normally. However, an overweight landing was made, hence this report. Maximum landing weight for this aircraft is 114000 pounds. Our landing weight was 119000 pounds. Since no emergency was declared, I elected to file this report in the event our friendly FAA inspector becomes rambunctious.
