Narrative:
About 3 mins into flight, we began pulling carts out to begin the beverage service. The captain called back to report we had a broken cockpit window and that we would immediately be turning back to dfw. We returned carts to the galleys and began our cabin safety check. The cockpit dropped some of the fuel, so we could land safely. The landing was perfect. We got to dfw and went straight to the next available plane and left. The passenger were calm and cooperative.
