While sitting on the taxiway waiting for clearance onto the ramp, the captain moved the #1 engine condition lever to the feather position. A fire warning promptly ensued. The captain accomplished the memory items then called for the QRH. I contacted ground to inform them of our indications. The captain called the flight attendants to command the evacuate/evacuation. The captain and first officer finished checklists then proceeded aft to assist in the evacuate/evacuation. There were no injuries and no aircraft damage.
