Primary Problem | Passenger Human Performance |
Narrative:
A passenger's wife left her purse in terminal. The passenger tried to force his way off the aircraft to return to the terminal. The captain was called via interphone. Operations was called to look for the lost purse. When the purse could not be found, the passenger was advised. At that time, the passenger grabbed the flight attendant by the arms (from behind), cursed and pushed the flight attendant aside. Police were called and the passenger was removed from aircraft. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter said that the boarding door on this particular aircraft is in the rear. The passenger was incensed at the reporter when she told him that the airline's customer service agent could send the lost purse on the next flight. He called her a few names and said that 'your *&^% airline caused a delay, so they can *&^% wait till I find my wife's purse.' the couple were on their honeymoon. When he grabbed the reporter's arms straight back, he tore her rotator cup. The police took the passenger and his wife off. The reporter has been interviewed twice by the fbi.
