Narrative:
I don't really remember the event that well because it was 3 plus yrs ago. I was working as a hangar routine overnight mechanic accomplishing an aco (aircraft change order) for the center tank fuel harness. I don't even recall the sequence of events or who I was working with. Apparently a box of towels were left in the center tank. Going back into history this is the last time anyone was in the center tank. I signed off the aircraft change order, so I have to assume the responsibility for the event.
Original NASA ASRS Text
