Narrative:
Maintenance to be performed was on aircraft xyz. The original turbine CAT BBB was in compliance with modification DDDX revision 3 and pinion oil nozzle part number zxzz were installed in accordance with the modification. The loaner turbine CAT BBB wasn't in compliance with modification DDDX and should have required pinion oil nozzle part number zxzz. The discrepancy was noted after maintenance was accomplished. I notified my supervisor and he contacted necessary persons for grounding of aircraft. Pre maintenance research wasn't performed on part numbers.

Title: A BELL 206 WAS DISPATCHED AND OPERATED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH A LOANER ENG INSTALLED WITHOUT MANDATORY ENG MODIFICATIONS.
Narrative: MAINT TO BE PERFORMED WAS ON ACFT XYZ. THE ORIGINAL TURBINE CAT BBB WAS IN COMPLIANCE WITH MODIFICATION DDDX REVISION 3 AND PINION OIL NOZZLE PART NUMBER ZXZZ WERE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MODIFICATION.
