Narrative:
While I was distracted with other duties my first officer (PNF) was given descent to cross tarne at 11000 ft. He put in 10000 ft in the altitude box and said he read 10000 ft back, busted altitude, no conflict. Supplemental information from acn 460650: upon arrival, over tarne intersection on tarne 1 arrival. Cincinnati approach controller questioned why we were at 12000 ft instead of 11000 ft as is usual. We explained that was what we were given by ZID.
