Narrative:
On the B767 PW4060 engine installation, the aft mount comes in 2 different configns -- rigid and flexible, whereby one installation has slightly longer bolts. On a transit inspection in frankfurt, I noticed that the shorter bolts had been installed in a confign that required the longer bolts. I inspected the mount bolts and the aft mount and found the installation to be secure. The engine had been replaced 3 weeks earlier. I released the aircraft for the return flight back to the main base. I called the maintenance coordination center on the phone to have the bolts replaced on arrival. The aircraft was taken OTS and the correct bolts installed.
