Narrative:
Troubleshot squawk correctly using maintenance manual. But; inadvertently used maintenance manual page for the CF6-80A instead of the page for the CF6-80C. I locked out hpsov for B767-200. It should have been hpsov B767-300 series per maintenance manual. Reviewed maintenance manual for proper troubleshooting using correct reference numbers for hpsov locations. When viewing manual reference for maintenance reference B767-200 and maintenance manual reference B767-300.
