Narrative:

We were cruising west of msp when the lead flight attendant came up and said an elderly woman was having heart trouble in the back of the aircraft. She called the clinic on the phone and we were then told it would be best to divert to msp, which we did. We declared a medical emergency and an emergency also because we had to plan an overweight landing. We also disregarded the 250 KT speed limit below 10000 ft to get on the ground as soon as possible. The whole system worked well and the coordination with the company and ATC could not have been better.
