Narrative:
On jan/xa/00, flight abc was dispatched to XXX, us, from ZZZ, us, by contract maintenance. The center windshield panel was shattered due to what appeared to be severe arcing of the anti-ice pane. The aircraft was dispatched under MEL 30-10A for revenue flight with 124 passenger on board. At XXX, the aircraft was removed from service and rted to the hangar for windshield replacement. The center panel and window heat control were replaced and tested reference maintenance manual and aircraft was returned to service.

Title: AN MD SUPER 80 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH THE COCKPIT CTR WINDSHIELD SHATTERED AND DEFERRED IN CONFLICT WITH THE MEL AND MAINT MANUAL.
Narrative: ON JAN/XA/00, FLT ABC WAS DISPATCHED TO XXX, US, FROM ZZZ, US, BY CONTRACT MAINT. THE CTR WINDSHIELD PANEL WAS SHATTERED DUE TO WHAT APPEARED TO BE SEVERE ARCING OF THE ANTI-ICE PANE. THE ACFT WAS DISPATCHED UNDER MEL 30-10A FOR REVENUE FLT WITH 124 PAX ON BOARD. AT XXX, THE ACFT WAS REMOVED FROM SVC AND RTED TO THE HANGAR FOR WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT. THE CTR PANEL AND WINDOW HEAT CTL WERE REPLACED AND TESTED REF MAINT MANUAL AND ACFT WAS RETURNED TO SVC.
