Narrative:

Shortly after takeoff, 'low level' fluid level indication illuminated on green hydraulic system. We notified ATC that we needed to stay close to the airport and that we may need to return for landing after running checklists and calling company. While speaking with company maintenance control, we also noticed we had a 'flap disagreement' warning as well. Believing the flap problem to be related to the low hydraulic fluid level, maintenance and we jointly decided the safest course of action was to return to the airport for landing. We had enough fluid in the system to extend the landing gear. When the gear extended, the fluid level indication increased and the flap warning was extinguished. We were able to deploy the flaps to their normal landing setting. After running all appropriate checklists, the flight landed without incident.

Title: FLC OF AN EMBRAER EMB120 RETURNED TO LAND AFTER HAVING A LOW HYD FLUID AND SPLIT FLAP INDICATION DURING INITIAL DEP CLB.

Narrative: SHORTLY AFTER TKOF, 'LOW LEVEL' FLUID LEVEL INDICATION ILLUMINATED ON GREEN HYD SYS. WE NOTIFIED ATC THAT WE NEEDED TO STAY CLOSE TO THE ARPT AND THAT WE MAY NEED TO RETURN FOR LNDG AFTER RUNNING CHKLISTS AND CALLING COMPANY. WHILE SPEAKING WITH COMPANY MAINT CTL, WE ALSO NOTICED WE HAD A 'FLAP DISAGREEMENT' WARNING AS WELL. BELIEVING THE FLAP PROB TO BE RELATED TO THE LOW HYD FLUID LEVEL, MAINT AND WE JOINTLY DECIDED THE SAFEST COURSE OF ACTION WAS TO RETURN TO THE ARPT FOR LNDG. WE HAD ENOUGH FLUID IN THE SYS TO EXTEND THE LNDG GEAR. WHEN THE GEAR EXTENDED, THE FLUID LEVEL INDICATION INCREASED AND THE FLAP WARNING WAS EXTINGUISHED. WE WERE ABLE TO DEPLOY THE FLAPS TO THEIR NORMAL LNDG SETTING. AFTER RUNNING ALL APPROPRIATE CHKLISTS, THE FLT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.
