Narrative:
In order to keep our 'on time departure' performance, ground/operations wanted to board our B727 aircraft at the scheduled time, with only 1 flight attendant onboard. The 'balance of the flight attendant crew could do their safety checks when they got on, before departure.' the captain xx requested, and then demanded, that boarding be delayed until balance of crew was onboard. He was concerned that only 1 flight attendant with 147 passenger could present a safety problem -- 1 flight attendant could not be present at all 5 doors and safety of the passenger could be compromised. This had been scheduled poorly. The flight attendant base crew landed 50 mins prior to departure of the next flight. They landed in X concourse (dia) and departed out of Y.

Title: CABIN ATTENDANT RPT, B727, DIA-SJC. GATE AGENTS TRIED TO BOARD FULL FLT WITH ONLY 1 CABIN ATTENDANT ONBOARD. CAPT STOPPED THE BOARDING UNTIL REST OF CABIN ATTENDANTS WERE ONBOARD.
Narrative: IN ORDER TO KEEP OUR 'ON TIME DEP' PERFORMANCE, GND/OPS WANTED TO BOARD OUR B727 ACFT AT THE SCHEDULED TIME, WITH ONLY 1 FLT ATTENDANT ONBOARD. THE 'BALANCE OF THE FLT ATTENDANT CREW COULD DO THEIR SAFETY CHKS WHEN THEY GOT ON, BEFORE DEP.' THE CAPT XX REQUESTED, AND THEN DEMANDED, THAT BOARDING BE DELAYED UNTIL BALANCE OF CREW WAS ONBOARD. HE WAS CONCERNED THAT ONLY 1 FLT ATTENDANT WITH 147 PAX COULD PRESENT A SAFETY PROB -- 1 FLT ATTENDANT COULD NOT BE PRESENT AT ALL 5 DOORS AND SAFETY OF THE PAX COULD BE COMPROMISED. THIS HAD BEEN SCHEDULED POORLY. THE FLT ATTENDANT BASE CREW LANDED 50 MINS PRIOR TO DEP OF THE NEXT FLT. THEY LANDED IN X CONCOURSE (DIA) AND DEPARTED OUT OF Y.
