Narrative:
At 500 ft AGL, after takeoff, oil pressure limit engine #1 warning appeared on MFDU. Followed checklist procedures and warning abated with #1 engine at idle (low oil pressure). Declared emergency, requested vectors back to clt. Performed visual approach to runway 36L, 25 degree flap landing. Normal approach and landing, with left engine at idle. No recommendations -- purely a maintenance problem.
