Narrative:
Right engine had oil leak. Engine was never lost. Declared emergency so I could be first on the approach to land at pelston. Dipstick was left out. Engine was inspected by mechanic and no damage was done.

Title: A PIPER PA31 IN CRUISE AT 6000 FT DECLARED AN EMER AND DIVERTED DUE TO LOSS OF OIL QUANTITY AND PRESSURE IN THE #2 ENG CAUSED BY OIL STICK NOT SECURED.
Narrative: R ENG HAD OIL LEAK. ENG WAS NEVER LOST. DECLARED EMER SO I COULD BE FIRST ON THE APCH TO LAND AT PELSTON. DIPSTICK WAS LEFT OUT. ENG WAS INSPECTED BY MECH AND NO DAMAGE WAS DONE.
