Narrative:

I was acting copilot on a citation 500 departing olv. Utilizing a VFR takeoff, my first call to departure was approximately 400 ft AGL. I informed departure we were off olive branch. We were told we were radar idented. I further informed departure we were turning left to a 250 degree heading passing 1200 ft for 2000 ft. Whereupon we were told to make immediate right turn to 090 degree heading. At this point we were at approximately 300 degrees and still turning left. Captain started immediate right turn to 090 degree heading. Departure queried heading passing through. I responded right turn passing through 330 degrees. Departure told us start immediate left turn to 270 degrees without delay, this was repeated several times with urgency. During this exchange we were told of traffic (Y) which we idented and reported. Because we were vectored into the area of this traffic with first the turn to the east then back to the west, an avoidance maneuver was necessary to maintain a safe distance. This maneuver was a steep climbing left turn.

Title: LTSS FOR CPR JET AND ACR ACFT NEAR MEM.

Narrative: I WAS ACTING COPLT ON A CITATION 500 DEPARTING OLV. UTILIZING A VFR TKOF, MY FIRST CALL TO DEP WAS APPROX 400 FT AGL. I INFORMED DEP WE WERE OFF OLIVE BRANCH. WE WERE TOLD WE WERE RADAR IDENTED. I FURTHER INFORMED DEP WE WERE TURNING L TO A 250 DEG HDG PASSING 1200 FT FOR 2000 FT. WHEREUPON WE WERE TOLD TO MAKE IMMEDIATE R TURN TO 090 DEG HDG. AT THIS POINT WE WERE AT APPROX 300 DEGS AND STILL TURNING L. CAPT STARTED IMMEDIATE R TURN TO 090 DEG HDG. DEP QUERIED HEADING PASSING THROUGH. I RESPONDED R TURN PASSING THROUGH 330 DEGS. DEP TOLD US START IMMEDIATE L TURN TO 270 DEGS WITHOUT DELAY, THIS WAS REPEATED SEVERAL TIMES WITH URGENCY. DURING THIS EXCHANGE WE WERE TOLD OF TFC (Y) WHICH WE IDENTED AND RPTED. BECAUSE WE WERE VECTORED INTO THE AREA OF THIS TFC WITH FIRST THE TURN TO THE E THEN BACK TO THE W, AN AVOIDANCE MANEUVER WAS NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN A SAFE DISTANCE. THIS MANEUVER WAS A STEEP CLBING L TURN.
