Narrative:
Every time I get to lga the problem gets worse. Upon arrival at the gate, the guideman and wing walkers are not ready for our arrival. When the aircraft was finally parked I signaled the guideman by flashing the nose lights 3 times. He ignored me and walked over to the window. I asked him to come up to the cockpit and he just walked away with a hand gesture. This is getting very old to say the least. I walked downstairs to chat with him and the other ground crew members did what they could to stop me from finding the lead guideman. Once the guideman was found I asked him what 3 flashes of the nose light meant and he said he did not know and what the problem was. He was told that all crew people needed wands and that is when he asked who the hell I was to question how he brought an aircraft to the gate. His voice was raised in a threatening manner and that is when I walked away. This is not acceptable behavior from anyone and I hope to hear what air carrier airlines has planned to correct this flagrant disregard of captain's authority/authorized.
