Narrative:
Engine failure during takeoff. Left engine flamed out passing 300 ft above field level with no warning. First officer continued to fly while captain declared emergency. Single engine climb out procedures were executed. Climbed to approximately 3000 ft MSL then 2500 ft MSL until approach tower gave us vectors for approach to runway 14R ord. Captain ran the engine failure/in-flight shutdown checklist. Engine continued to windmill with no additional symptoms. Captain reported approximately 170 mins of fuel and 100 soles. Before landing checklist was accomplished and single engine go around brief received RA to climb at OM. Traffic was 500 ft below but tower said no factor. First officer accomplished single engine landing with 28 degree flaps to uneventful landing. Exterior of aircraft inspected by crash fire rescue equipment personnel. Taxi to gate for normal deplaning of passenger.
