Narrative:
ATC vectored us into flight path and altitude of other aircraft. TA alerted us. We leveled off 600 ft above traffic which passed directly underneath us. ATC clearance put our aircraft on collision course with traffic. TA alert warned us to leveloff and avoid conflict.

Title: RPTR CONTENDS THAT ATC VECTORED HIS ACFT X ON A COLLISION COURSE WITH ACFT Y.
Narrative: ATC VECTORED US INTO FLT PATH AND ALT OF OTHER ACFT. TA ALERTED US. WE LEVELED OFF 600 FT ABOVE TFC WHICH PASSED DIRECTLY UNDERNEATH US. ATC CLRNC PUT OUR ACFT ON COLLISION COURSE WITH TFC. TA ALERT WARNED US TO LEVELOFF AND AVOID CONFLICT.
