Narrative:
This was a situation in which I'm not sure we deviated from a clearance but I felt uneasy due to the circumstances. I am flying new aircraft. This day I was flying aircraft A1 for the first time. We were on a maintenance flight and had been cleared down to 4000 ft out of 9500 ft in a descent. At 6500 ft, approach reclred us to 5000 ft. They had done this to us a couple of times during the arrival due to our accelerated descent rate (4000-6000 FPM). I didn't think much about it until I heard 'A2' at 4000 ft to the same airport. I then wondered if I had picked up their clearance to 4000 ft and not ours. No conflict and approach didn't say anything so I probably am just paranoid. But it did make me pay more attention to the call signs.

Narrative: THIS WAS A SIT IN WHICH I'M NOT SURE WE DEVIATED FROM A CLRNC BUT I FELT UNEASY DUE TO THE CIRCUMSTANCES. I AM FLYING NEW ACFT. THIS DAY I WAS FLYING ACFT A1 FOR THE FIRST TIME. WE WERE ON A MAINT FLT AND HAD BEEN CLRED DOWN TO 4000 FT OUT OF 9500 FT IN A DSCNT. AT 6500 FT, APCH RECLRED US TO 5000 FT. THEY HAD DONE THIS TO US A COUPLE OF TIMES DURING THE ARR DUE TO OUR ACCELERATED DSCNT RATE (4000-6000 FPM). I DIDN'T THINK MUCH ABOUT IT UNTIL I HEARD 'A2' AT 4000 FT TO THE SAME ARPT.
