Narrative:
I climbed the MD80 from FL310 to FL350 and turned him 15 degrees left. When I saw the A340 was close, I issued 2 separate left turns to the A340. He didn't turn, said 'climbing for TCASII.' I further turned the MD80 who turned and descended for TCASII.

Title: RADAR CTLR CLBED ACFT X THROUGH THE ALT OF ACFT Y, LOST STANDARD SEPARATION, RESULTING IN AN OPERROR.
Narrative: I CLBED THE MD80 FROM FL310 TO FL350 AND TURNED HIM 15 DEGS L. WHEN I SAW THE A340 WAS CLOSE, I ISSUED 2 SEPARATE L TURNS TO THE A340. HE DIDN'T TURN, SAID 'CLBING FOR TCASII.' I FURTHER TURNED THE MD80 WHO TURNED AND DSNDED FOR TCASII.
