Narrative:
Flight cleared to climb and maintain FL350 by ZLA controller on 128.07. Clearance to climb read back by first officer. Controller told flight to maintain FL330 within 10 NM. Said climb clearance had been amended, transmission not received by flight. Center controller stated that climb clearance had previously amended to maintain FL330 and proceed direct beryl intersection, flight responded that amendment was not received, and that another aircraft had read back our clearance.
