Narrative:

Aircraft drifted back hitting belt loader. Brake not properly set. Ramp agent had not chocked the aircraft before offloading bags. Aircraft drifted back and put a puncture hole next to access panel. Damage area measured approximately 1 1/2 inches by 2 inches in diameter. I was notified after passenger and bags were off the aircraft that we had drifted back and damage occurred to aircraft. Noted damage in aircraft log. Notified maintenance of what had happened and of write-ups in logbook. Corrective action. Absolutely make sure that brakes are set. Never assume that the aircraft is checked.
