Narrative:

The captain aborted a landing, due to an indicator showing the gear was not locked into place. The captain then advised me, flight attendant #1, that we should plan for an emergency landing. The captain said everything should be ok, but was not certain. I then notified the other flight attendants, and we prepared for an emergency landing. The flight attendants did an excellent job coordinating the emergency landing procedures. We landed without incident. The rescue squad was standing by. Passenger were very calm.
