Narrative:
During taxi into parking ramp, aircraft accidentally taxied onto taxiway J. Taxiway J is not rated for large aircraft and is noted as such on the airport diagram. In haste to get parked and poor visibility with rain, we accidentally pulled onto taxiway J. We stopped our taxi and had a tug connected and were towed into the ramp. No damage to taxiway or airplane occurred. Restr txwys should be visibly marked as such so that crews will know by viewing signs outside of cockpit. This will allow crew members to keep eyes outside cockpit during taxi instead of reading charts.
