Narrative:
Cleared visual by approach control and told to contact tower at 5 mi. We dialed the frequency but didn't switch to tower. We landed and didn't realize we had not contacted tower until we were clearing runway. We were fairly high on downwind. This is a contributing factor as we were very busy configuring and losing altitude.
