Narrative:
I lost the whole panel after touchdown. Turned off active as soon as possible. The taxiway that I took crossed the end of a crossing active runway. I visually checked it, crossed and taxied to the FBO. I called tower as soon as possible on the FBO phone. A handheld might have helped, but there was little time for that.

Title: PVT PLT OF A PIPER PA28-235 LOST INST PANEL FROM ITS MOUNTING DURING LNDG RESULTING IN PLT XING AN ACTIVE RWY DURING TAXI IN. PLT CLAIMS THAT HE HAD NO WAY OF CONTACTING TWR BY THE RADIO.
Narrative: I LOST THE WHOLE PANEL AFTER TOUCHDOWN. TURNED OFF ACTIVE ASAP. THE TXWY THAT I TOOK CROSSED THE END OF A XING ACTIVE RWY. I VISUALLY CHKED IT, CROSSED AND TAXIED TO THE FBO. I CALLED TWR ASAP ON THE FBO PHONE. A HANDHELD MIGHT HAVE HELPED, BUT THERE WAS LITTLE TIME FOR THAT.
