Narrative:
While en route from dut-sjn-4AC, climbing out of 6000 ft for 11500 ft, I contacted ZAB for advisories. They gave me a squawk code and I continued my climb. As I was passing through 7500 ft, I realized that they had not said 'cleared through class B airspace.' I know I was very close to the edge of the airspace (7000 ft). I asked center if I had violated the class B airspace, and after a moment he said that he had spoken with phx and they were 'aware' of my position. That worried me a little, so when I stopped at sjn for fuel I called phx TRACON on the phone and they told me they were not aware of any violations that morning. I was not concerned enough about my position relative to the class B airspace after contacting center for flight following and I was distraction by a radio that was acting funny. I really don't know if I clipped the corner of the class B airspace, but I was certainly very close. I will pay much closer attention in the future.
