Narrative:
Power port 115V 400HZ wiring tie-wrapped to seat frames without suitable guard to prevent chafing by personnel and underseat stowed baggage. Violates standard wiring practices, chapter 20 of maintenance manual. Power port wiring between rows of seats is run in unsuitable seat tracks where spilled beverages and moisture gather. This poses a risk due to potentially damaged insulation. Hazards imposed by power port wiring included: 1) fire, 2) electrocution, and 3) tripping during evacuate/evacuation.
