Narrative:
The takeoff, flight and landing phases were conducted within the normal operating parameters. After landing, we taxied to the gate. Wing walkers were noted at each side of the parking area. Equipment was stationed within the designated areas around the parking area. A green light was given by the marshaller. I maintained proper line-up with the lighted line-up bars. The aircraft was slowed to a complete stop as the light turned from yellow to red. The passenger deplaned. We gathered our flight kits and suitcases and proceeded to the pilot lounge. Subsequently, a representative of the chief pilot's office informed me that the aircraft had struck a service vehicle in the gate area. Prior to that, I had no knowledge of this incident.
