Emergency declared. 2 injuries to passenger and 2 injuries to crew (flight attendants). Overweight landing accomplished at ict (wichita). Believe windshear was the cause due to transitioning frontal boundary.

Narrative: FL370 ENCOUNTERED SEVERE TURB RESULTING IN LOSS OF ACFT CTL. 4000 FT OF ALT LOSS BEFORE CTL REGAINED. EMER DECLARED. 2 INJURIES TO PAX AND 2 INJURIES TO CREW (FLT ATTENDANTS). OVERWT LNDG ACCOMPLISHED AT ICT (WICHITA). BELIEVE WINDSHEAR WAS THE CAUSE DUE TO TRANSITIONING FRONTAL BOUNDARY.
