Narrative:
On a passenger carrying balloon flight, upon approach to landing in a large field, the basket struck the static wire above a power line. The basket rebounded, climbed to a safe altitude and landed approximately 20 mins later. There was no damage to the balloon and no one was injured.

Title: A FIRE FLY AX10 BALLOON MAKES A GAR AFTER HITTING A STATIC WIRE LOCATED ABOVE A PWR LINE IN A LNDG ATTEMPT NEAR CLT, NC.
Narrative: ON A PAX CARRYING BALLOON FLT, UPON APCH TO LNDG IN A LARGE FIELD, THE BASKET STRUCK THE STATIC WIRE ABOVE A PWR LINE. THE BASKET REBOUNDED, CLBED TO A SAFE ALT AND LANDED APPROX 20 MINS LATER. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE BALLOON AND NO ONE WAS INJURED.
