Narrative:
While descending from FL230 to FL210, first officer misread his altimeter and descended to FL200. This error was first noted by ATC. Immediate corrective action was taken with an immediate climb to FL210 within 20 seconds of initiation. ATC controller was asked if we had created a 'deal,' his response was negative, with a clearance to descend to FL180 (or lower?).

Title: A DSNDING L188 ELECTRA CARGO FLT OVERSHOOTS ITS ASSIGNED ALT WHEN THE FO MISREADS HIS INST AND GOES TO FL200 VERSUS FL210 N OF FWA, IN.
Narrative: WHILE DSNDING FROM FL230 TO FL210, FO MISREAD HIS ALTIMETER AND DSNDED TO FL200. THIS ERROR WAS FIRST NOTED BY ATC. IMMEDIATE CORRECTIVE ACTION WAS TAKEN WITH AN IMMEDIATE CLB TO FL210 WITHIN 20 SECONDS OF INITIATION. ATC CTLR WAS ASKED IF WE HAD CREATED A 'DEAL,' HIS RESPONSE WAS NEGATIVE, WITH A CLRNC TO DSND TO FL180 (OR LOWER?).
