Narrative:
During climb to FL270, we accidentally climbed through FL270 to FL273. When the altitude alert went off at FL273 we immediately returned to FL270. Contributing factors are as follows: the captain was distracted by his HSI processing abnormally. I was distracted by changing from lax departure charts to phx arrival charts. The flight engineer was distracted by the flight engineer panel.
