Narrative:
We experienced severe to extreme turbulence for 30-40 mins. I was strapped in my jump seat at 4L, forward facing. We were south and east of greenland. We experienced being thrown around while seated. I experienced neck and shoulder pain. The captain advised the flight attendants, after the turbulence, that it was in the category of severe. A B747 in our area experienced the same turbulence.
