Narrative:
At some point en route between mem and xna the captain began xferring fuel in an effort to balance the wings. I did not see him begin the xfer and did not notice that we had exceeded the aircraft's maximum wing imbal by 500 pounds until we reached the gate. We were finishing a 12 hour duty day with about 6 hours of flight time and were feeling the effects of fatigue.
