Narrative:

Instructed by ground control to taxi to runway 1 via taxiway left. Upon reaching the intersection of runway 6 and taxiway left, I observed an aircraft on short final. I stopped short of the runway but beyond the hold short stripe, but did not cross or enter the runway. I did not receive a hold short restr from the ground controller and decided to stop before entering the runway. Supplemental information from acn 476519: ground control told us to immediately taxi across runway 6 but we didn't feel there was enough time with aircraft on final approach. Aircraft on final initiated a go around and we were then reclred across runway 6 to holding area for runway 1.

Title: A TAXIING SABRELINER HOLDS SHORT OF RWY 6 WHEN THEY SEE A LNDG ACFT THAT ATC HAD NOT POINTED OUT. CREW HAD RECEIVED CLRNC ALL THE WAY TO RWY 1, BEING LEGAL TO CROSS RWY 6 AT TEB, NJ.

Narrative: INSTRUCTED BY GND CTL TO TAXI TO RWY 1 VIA TXWY L. UPON REACHING THE INTXN OF RWY 6 AND TXWY L, I OBSERVED AN ACFT ON SHORT FINAL. I STOPPED SHORT OF THE RWY BUT BEYOND THE HOLD SHORT STRIPE, BUT DID NOT CROSS OR ENTER THE RWY. I DID NOT RECEIVE A HOLD SHORT RESTR FROM THE GND CTLR AND DECIDED TO STOP BEFORE ENTERING THE RWY. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 476519: GND CTL TOLD US TO IMMEDIATELY TAXI ACROSS RWY 6 BUT WE DIDN'T FEEL THERE WAS ENOUGH TIME WITH ACFT ON FINAL APCH. ACFT ON FINAL INITIATED A GAR AND WE WERE THEN RECLRED ACROSS RWY 6 TO HOLDING AREA FOR RWY 1.
