Narrative:
A young female passenger entered the coach galley. She spoke japanese and portuguese only. From body language, I realized she had abdominal pains. The flight attendant, japanese speaker, came to main cabin to translate. She is 5 months pregnant and having contractions. We laid her across the last row of center seats. We paged for a doctor, nurse, emt. An emergency room nurse answered the page. The captain was kept informed of situation. The captain came to the main cabin to discuss the situation with the nurse. The passenger was bleeding, in severe pain. Her water had broken and the baby's crown was showing. It was determined that we should land as soon as possible. Approximately 20 mins later, we landed at slc. The passenger was on oxygen from time we laid her across seats. She was placed on a backboard. Oxygen was started by emt and placed on their gurney. It was necessary to use a backboard because their gurney was too wide to fit through our coach aisle.

Title: MULTIPLE CABIN ATTENDANT RPT, B777, NRT-DFW. PREGNANT (5 MONTH) WOMAN STARTED TO GIVE BIRTH, PAX NURSE MONITORED SIT. DIVERT TO SLC. PAX REMOVED BY EMT.
Narrative: A YOUNG FEMALE PAX ENTERED THE COACH GALLEY. SHE SPOKE JAPANESE AND PORTUGUESE ONLY. FROM BODY LANGUAGE, I REALIZED SHE HAD ABDOMINAL PAINS. THE FLT ATTENDANT, JAPANESE SPEAKER, CAME TO MAIN CABIN TO TRANSLATE. SHE IS 5 MONTHS PREGNANT AND HAVING CONTRACTIONS. WE LAID HER ACROSS THE LAST ROW OF CTR SEATS. WE PAGED FOR A DOCTOR, NURSE, EMT. AN EMER ROOM NURSE ANSWERED THE PAGE. THE CAPT WAS KEPT INFORMED OF SIT. THE CAPT CAME TO THE MAIN CABIN TO DISCUSS THE SIT WITH THE NURSE. THE PAX WAS BLEEDING, IN SEVERE PAIN. HER WATER HAD BROKEN AND THE BABY'S CROWN WAS SHOWING. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT WE SHOULD LAND ASAP. APPROX 20 MINS LATER, WE LANDED AT SLC. THE PAX WAS ON OXYGEN FROM TIME WE LAID HER ACROSS SEATS. SHE WAS PLACED ON A BACKBOARD. OXYGEN WAS STARTED BY EMT AND PLACED ON THEIR GURNEY.
