Narrative:
Takeoff from mybs after preflight inspection of PA30. Received briefing, squawk code and opened VFR flight plan with mia radio in air for the 54 mi flight. At 34 mi contacted fll approach at 16 mi told I had ATIS information and airport in sight. Fll released me VFR, contact tower. I called mia radio and canceled flight plan and contacted fxe tower at 11 mi out, told to continue and report shoreline. Requested runway 31 and request denied. Next, tower asked me to follow shoreline north and square to final runway 26 traffic. King air 2 mi final, cleared to land #2 and allow spacing for departures. At shoreline and turned north, slowed to gear speed did landing checklist selected gear and 1ST notch of flaps and set power for approach. At about 1 1/2 mi out tower told me of one more departure. I was at blueline speed and did my final landing check. When landing was assured I selected full flaps. After flaring I felt an unusual attitude and then contact with ground. No injury. Found gear handle selected down and gear motor circuit breaker popped out.

Title: A PA30 TWIN COMANCHE PLT LANDS GEAR UP WHEN THE GEAR EXTENSION MOTOR POPS ITS MAIN CIRCUIT BREAKER WHEN PLT PLACED THE GEAR HANDLE DOWN ON BASE LEG TO RWY 26 AT FLL, FL.
Narrative: TKOF FROM MYBS AFTER PREFLT INSPECTION OF PA30. RECEIVED BRIEFING, SQUAWK CODE AND OPENED VFR FLT PLAN WITH MIA RADIO IN AIR FOR THE 54 MI FLT. AT 34 MI CONTACTED FLL APCH AT 16 MI TOLD I HAD ATIS INFO AND ARPT IN SIGHT. FLL RELEASED ME VFR, CONTACT TWR. I CALLED MIA RADIO AND CANCELED FLT PLAN AND CONTACTED FXE TWR AT 11 MI OUT, TOLD TO CONTINUE AND RPT SHORELINE. REQUESTED RWY 31 AND REQUEST DENIED. NEXT, TWR ASKED ME TO FOLLOW SHORELINE N AND SQUARE TO FINAL RWY 26 TFC. KING AIR 2 MI FINAL, CLRED TO LAND #2 AND ALLOW SPACING FOR DEPS. AT SHORELINE AND TURNED N, SLOWED TO GEAR SPD DID LNDG CHKLIST SELECTED GEAR AND 1ST NOTCH OF FLAPS AND SET PWR FOR APCH. AT ABOUT 1 1/2 MI OUT TWR TOLD ME OF ONE MORE DEP. I WAS AT BLUELINE SPD AND DID MY FINAL LNDG CHK. WHEN LNDG WAS ASSURED I SELECTED FULL FLAPS. AFTER FLARING I FELT AN UNUSUAL ATTITUDE AND THEN CONTACT WITH GND. NO INJURY. FOUND GEAR HANDLE SELECTED DOWN AND GEAR MOTOR CIRCUIT BREAKER POPPED OUT.
